Michelle Serrano-Mills, Founder

Michelle Serrano-Mills began her first business in the 6th grade as an Educational Consultant tutoring her younger neighbor and cousin.  She earned $20 per week and that was the beginning of a career as an Entrepreneur.  While in high school she developed her plan to attend a liberal arts college, go to Harvard Law School, work for a corporate law firm for about 2 years, then open her own law practice taking on big business for those less fortunate, less educated, and with less resources.
In 1986, the plan came alive as she entered Davidson College, one of the top liberal arts colleges in the country.  However, 3 years later after meeting her first business partner and co-founding Our-Story 101, a summer enrichment program, she found that her true purpose was to be an educator.  She also found that she had the vision of an entrepreneur.  After graduating from Davidson College and foregoing the traditional tract of graduate school or corporate job, Mrs. Serrano-Mills sought opportunities to gain more knowledge as a business owner, educator, and entrepreneur.
Her professional experience is extensive across various positions including: Educator, Office Manager, Operations Manager, Program Coordinator, Consultant (Small Business and City & County Government), Employer, Non-Profit Agency Director, Sales Representative, Corporate Trainer, Business Coach, and Field Trainer.  She has worked in different industries including: Health Care, Retail, City & County Government, Training & Development, Non-Profit, and Food & Beverage.
Along with her business partner and husband, Linsey Mills, she has co-founded 6 businesses (Our-Story 101, Our-Story Consulting, Our-Story Desktop Publishing, Positivitees, and Simply Outrageous) and 2 non-profit organizations, The Linsey & Michelle MILLS (Making Investments in Lives, Legacies, and Securities) Foundation and the Games for Life Institute,  and co-authored Simply Outrageous: Lessons Learned on the Road to Entrepreneur of the Year.  She and her husband were also recognized by the City of Winston-Salem with a Resolution thanking them for their “…contribution made on the national and local levels and maintaining and improving the economic health of our community.”
Today Mrs. Serrano-Mills focuses on the international expansion of Team WillPower, a growing marketing powerhouse which specializes in the marketing of business opportunities and entrepreneurship. She also helps develop financial literacy youth programs and games for her foundations. She also works with a few select clients as a Business Coach. Through these combined efforts she has been able to help those less fortunate, less educated, and with less resources. It is her goal to provide those who have the desire to find and live their purpose, reach their potential, live their dreams, and expand their territory with the coaching and guidance to be successful.
Spend 5 minutes with Mrs. Serrano-Mills and not only will you identify your purpose but will see a bigger vision for your life than you have ever seen before.
